About the Artist
Jereme Scott grew up in Columbia, Maryland. His passion for art began at an early age and thrived as he progressed through primary and secondary school. Upon graduating from Long Reach High School, Jereme earned a scholarship to play baseball at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia , where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. Scott then went on to earn a Masters Degree in Fine Arts form Howard University in Washington, D.C. where his studies focused heavily on surrealism, and the creation of whimsical compositions thread through an illusive narrative. While at Howard Jereme also expanded his use of media ,and began creating artworks in both plaster and wood, alongside his paintings. Jereme is currently a resident artist at the Howard County Center for the Arts in Ellicott City, Maryland and continues to paint and sculpt.
